Happy Monday!

Happy Monday guys!

How was your weekend?  Mine was fantastic, except I ate way too much food! My turkey dinner went very well and I got to enjoy some very tasty treats, but I consumed much too much! I am a little concerned about this week's weigh in I won't lie.  Fortunately I haven't been too hungry today so I am just trying to drink lots of water to keep it that way and to hopefully clear out a few calories.   I have also taken the dog for a big walk and have Zumba tonight...here's hoping this number hasn't increased!

So we are officially into week three of this blog.  How are you guys feeling?  Are you drinking lots of water?  How about green tea?  Are you trying to include more veggies into your diet?  This week I would like you to try eating more green things.  Even if it's just salad.  I recommend eating a salad or vegetable with every meal.  There should also be more vegetables on your plate than starches (potatoes, pasta, bread, etc).  Yes these things are delicious, but they are preventing you from getting into that next pant size down.



I want you to eat whatever vegetables you enjoy the most, eat them as much as you can because they are freebies!  They make excellent snacks and are great compliments to any meal.  If you are going to cook them with a meal, try cooking them in a bit of olive oil instead of butter, they will be just as tasty I promise, but will be a little bit healthier.

I can certainly provide some great veggie recipes for you guys too, this might help entice you to eat more.  I will do that tomorrow! I have a few that I make on my own, but I will go for a hunt and find a few more for you!

Thanks to everyone who is following me!  This is helping me a lot to reach my goal already!  I hope that I am able inspire some of you in one way or another.
