Ah yes the first weigh in day, always a bit scary, but the positive thing today is that next week that number will be lower! If we stick together and follow some healthier ways.
I thought I might be brave enough to tell you that number of the scale, but as it turns out I am not willing to share that bit of personal information. Once I have reached my first goal then maybe I will be more proud to share that with you.
Speaking of goals; with weight loss keep in mind that big goals are a lot harder to achieve and most people give up because the process is too hard or it takes too long. Don't do that to yourself! You may have a number on that scale that you want to reach and you most certainly can do it, but do it with smaller goals! Healthy weight loss should be a pound or two a week!
So my big goal at this moment is lose 5lbs, I would like to achieve this in 4 weeks. That takes me to Wednesday December 12th. I will eat better and exercise more to hit this target. If I lose this before 4 weeks is up then I will move to my next goal, which will be another 5lbs. These are good increments to work with.
If you are following me for weight loss here are the rules to the scale;
# 1 - only weigh yourself once a week - as I said before you body flucuates on a daily basis and I don't want anyone getting discouraged because they are 1lb heavier the next day.
# 2 - weigh yourself at the same time each time you step on that scale - I choose to weigh myself first thing in the morning
# 3 - step on that scale in your beautiful & sexy birthday suit only! Clothes add ounces and calories!
This will be short post as I am busy at work today, but I intend to write again this afternoon or this evening to discuss some exercise routines you can get into. Don't worry we are not running marathons I promise!! I want to have fun and burn fat, not be scared and sore.
Until later today my friends, keeping drinking that water and maybe only eat 2 cookies instead of 4 at lunch today :)
