Hey all!
Well as I suspected this was not going to be a good weigh in day. I have been giving you guys excellent advice, but I have not been taking it. Since my party over the weekend I have consumed so many tasty, but not good for the waistline, things lol Fortunately I am still down 2oz. I don't know how that happened, but it must mean my metabolism is still working. I am officially down 2lbs since starting this venture. I have 3 more to go to hit my first goal!
This week is all about stepping up my game. I am putting together another recipe tonight that I found this week that is only 350 calories per serving. I will share with you guys tomorrow if it goes well.
I went on a 40minute walk with the dog this morning and have zumba tonight which is great, but I need to step up my cardio. My walks are good, but I need to add in some more hills to get my heart rate up to burn more fat. I would also like to begin toning up. The cardio is an excellent start, but my hips, butt and thighs are my trouble areas, so check out the exercises below! I am going to try this on an every other day basis (i.e. the days I am not doing zumba). Give it a whirl with me! If you combine this with the ab exercise I put up about 2 weeks ago then you will get an all around work out! For only 20mins! Totally do-able. I will post the link to that one below for reference.
Along with my fitness regime increasing, I need to get back on the healthy eating train too. A good friend of mine has made me a delicious batch of cookie dough fudge. Terrible I know. This has been my weakness this week, but it has to stop. I can be strong and not eat it every day.
I am going to add more vegetables and eat more fruit. I will try to keep it interesting and share with you to help motivate you as well.
